Sector Treasury Services Adds SunGard STN Money Markets Portal For Investment Data for Clients

Sector Treasury Services, a subsidiary of Capita Group that serves as treasury management and capital financing advisor to UK local authorities, has tapped SunGard Transaction Network’s (STN) Money Markets portal to help its local government treasury clients meet short-term investment requirements.

STN Money Market Portal will be used to give clients research capabilities and historical data as well as underlying holdings of funds, yield comparisons and other analytics.

“We chose SunGard’s STN for it wide range of fund coverage and its integrated research capability for cross-comparing fund performance,” says Maryum Malik, associate director at Sector Treasury Services. “STN provides historical data in one portal, along with underlying holdings of funds, yield comparisons, and filters on ratings. This will give our clients an intuitive platform with the freedom to make their own investments online and help them streamline the entire process.”

SunGard is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and its STN Money Markets portal is a global, multi-currency trading and connectivity solution for institutional money market investors, such as corporate treasurers and hedge funds. Sector’s clients will be able to research, analyze, trade and report on money market funds through a single connection.

Sector, which provides capital financing, treasury advisory and strategic advisory services to the public sector, has clients such as local fire and police authorizes, NHS (National Health Service) trusts, universities and leisure trusts.
