Wachovia Online Payments Director Jumps to Citi
Thomas C. Noyes, former online and payments services director for Wachovia, has left the firm to join Citigroup as global head of Internet within the global consumer group. In his new role, he reports to Joyce Phillips, head of Citigroup’s international retail banking.
At Citigroup he will coordinate Internet and remote channel initiatives in 40 countries. Citigroup is looking to expand its success in direct banking in key countries and Noyes has been tapped to help with that effort.
At Wachovia, Noyes had worked with several Microsoft technologies. Microsoft, and Microsoft partner Corillian, had been key partners in delivering the core platform for Wachovia’s retail online bank. A .NET platform had been deployed to work with the company’s enterprise hub to increase response times and reliability.
In his new role at Citigroup, Microsoft is a key technology in several areas. Citigroup partners with Microsoft on marketing through MSN finance, and his group is also exploring Microsoft as a mobile technology partner.
Open Solutions Taps Pinataro to Head Corporate Financial Solutions Group
Open Solutions Inc., a Microsoft partner firm, has appointed Robert B. Pinataro as vice president and general manager of its Corporate Financial Solutions Group. He reports to Dave Krystowiak, executive vice president of group operations, and will be responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the Corporate Financial Solutions Group, which provides outsourced processing services for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Asset Retention Services (ARS), Broker Dealer Banking Services (BDBS) and Corporate Money Management Account Services (CMMAS).
Open Solutions’ Corporate Financial Services division is divided into three business areas: Healthcare Banking Solutions; Asset Retention Solutions; and Corporate Banking Solutions. It focuses on delivering creative and customized solutions for corporations wanting to raise additional capital, enter new markets and streamline inefficient financial processes.
“The CFS group has developed a suite of innovative, industry-focused technology products and services and we are investing heavily to ensure our clients remain the best at attracting, thrilling and retailing even more accountholders,” said Pinataro about his new role.
Pinataro joins Open Solutions from Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), where he was a vice president and general manager since 2003. He previously worked for General Electric Global eXchange Services (GXS) from 1998 to 2003, where he began as a Six Sigma Black Belt, and prior to that was a U.S. Naval Officer where he led operations of shipboard nuclear power plants.
Hodskins is Lumigent’s New Business Development VP
Lumigent Technologies, Inc. appointed Roger Hodskins as vice president of business development and alliances. Hodskins is responsible for developing and managing strategic global partnerships with key software and original equipment manufacturer leaders. He brings a proven track record of building worldwide channel programs with several high-growth technology companies. Lumigent is a Microsoft partner and a recognized industry specialist in database auditing solutions for compliance.
“We have made great strides developing relationships with major software players including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Sybase and IBM,” said Clifford Pollan, CEO of Lumigent. “With more than 25 years industry experience, Roger is well-equipped to enhance those existing relationships and develop new channels.” Prior to joining Lumigent, Hodskins served as vice president of business development at RadView Software. He also served on the management teams that took both NetGenesis and SQA public and has held senior roles at Ascential Software, Torrent Sofware , IBM and Kodak.
